EXTRAORDINARY BIRDWATCHING IN BIEBRZA NATIONAL PARK

A birdwatching adventure through the Southern Basin of the Biebrza Valley. The journey starts in the central location of the valley and continues along the high bank of the Biebrza River. Springtime brings the call of hundreds of singing birds, the screech of the Crane and gentle titter of the Black Tailed Godwit and other waterfowl birds. There is a chance to watch such birds as Lesser and Greater Spotted Eagle, White Tailed Eagle, Montagu’s Harrier, Hobby, White Winged, Whiskered and Black Tern, Black Stork, Crane, Ruff, Hoopoe, Ortolan Bunting, Trush Nightingale, Bluethroat, Rosefinch, Penduline Tit and several species of waterfowl, just to name a few.
